Yetter Training Center - An All-Inclusive Training & Boarding Facility For Your Horse

Yetter Training Center located in Gaithersburg, Maryland is an all-inclusive training and boarding facility for you and your horse. There are currently 2 available spots open for horses and riders in training! All horses are stall boarded live in a 13' x 12' stall complete with rubber mats, feed and water buckets, feed door, 18" wall mounted fans, plentiful amounts of shavings and a dutch door in our main barn. Our shed row barn offers 10' x 12' stalls with an exterior heat resistant coating. All stalls in the shed row are complete with fans and lights and a double dutch door system to allow extra ventilation. Both barns have their own tack room to store all of your equipment. Additionally, the main barn houses our hot and cold wash stall, feed room and tack room. *We only offer 24 hour field board to those horses that need to be outside all the time for medical reasons. 

We are seeking motivated boarders that want to expand their own and their horse's education. We offer a training and lesson program to fit everyone's needs and schedules and are happy to modify board, lessons and training packages on a case by case basis, according to you and your horse's individual needs.

Farm Sale UPDATE!

We have an exciting update to share about the current farm sale! Sherry D. Goldman, M.D. is interested in buying the property so the farm is now considered "under contract". We are working out the details but Sherry would like for Tom and Merhle to remain at the farm and continue to run the Tom Yetter Training Center along with the board services, hauling services and the farm. We will keep you posted as this progresses but we are hopeful that it will work out for all, including their wonderful customers!

Running a successful equine business requires having a team of responsible and knowledge individuals to keep the every day operations running as smoothly and safely as possible. In addition to our equine transport service, we run a successful boarding and training facility. We are currently looking to hire a working student and barn manager.

Yetter Training Center is a privately owned property in Gaithersburg, Maryland and our facility is currently
run under the direction of owner and trainer, Tom Yetter. Tom is a 1983 Meredith Manor Graduate with a Masters degree in both Teaching and Training. Our ideal candidate for both positions has a good work ethic, strong time-management skills and a keen interest in learning, as well as their own method of transportation. You must be able to work well with others, take direction and have a great attitude.

On The Road Again!

What a week for Yetter Equine Transport! Tom hauled horses to Pennsylvania and Richmond and this week we have plans to trailer a horse from Baltimore to Harpers Ferry and then will be hauling to a show on Sunday. With a heavy hauling schedule coming up, we took time over the weekend to give our rig a complete scrub down!

Yetter Equine Transport Service

Yetter Equine Transport located in Gaithersburg, Maryland is a luxury equine transport service that is driven by licensed and insured driver, Tom Yetter. As a rule, we don't do long distance transport, although exceptions can be made. We prefer to stay in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. 

Your horse will be safely transported in a brand new rig. We drive a Ford F-350 Supercab DRW and a Shadow 4 horse head-to-head with a large dressing room complete with a rear and side ramp. We bed the trailer with flake bagged bedding and carry our own hay and water. 
We are a licensed and insured transporter. DOT number available upon request. We carry $1 million in shipping insurance and $10,000 for each horse on board. Put your mind to ease knowing that your horse in the hands of a lifelong horseperson that guarantees to treat your horse as one of his own.

Busy Weekend At The Farm!

Spring is in full swing here at Yetter Training Center! Tom had quite the busy weekend shipping a horse home from the Kenny Harlow Clinic at Cedar Run Ranch in Cumberland, Virginia complete with teaching a few lessons. Around the farm we completed some much needed weed control. This week will be another busy transporting week for Tom as he will be heading to Leesburg twice and from Joppa to Harwood!
